Collaboration between schools and enterprises for mutual benefit | QUAMA Furniture Group and Central South University of Forestry and Technology successfully held a study tour event!
In order to further deepen school enterprise cooperation, integrate industry and education, and strengthen enterprise brand building, a delegation of 130 teachers and students from Central South University of Forestry and Technology visited and studied at QUAMAFurniture Group on November 13th. At the beginning of the event, Zhao Bo, General Manager of Marketing at QUAMAFurniture, and Duan Zihao, Manager of Marketing and Medical Design Department, respectively brought a wonderful and diverse special lecture to everyone. Students from Central and Southern Forestry University have gained a deeper understanding of QUAMA, as well as a clearer understanding of future design trends and career development.
Immersive Experience QUAMAExhibition Hall
Subsequently, everyone visited the QUAMAExhibition Hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of nearly 30000 square meters, mainly consisting of three series of exhibition halls for office furniture, medical furniture, and health care furniture. It neatly displays QUAMA's full range of commercial customized furniture and more than 100 domestic and foreign intellectual property patent certificates, fully demonstrating QUAMA's leading position in the high-end commercial customized furniture industry. Under the guidance of the instructor, everyone immersed themselves in the latest products such as the QUAMAMengdi lifting card slot and Eaton class table, and experienced the product strength and innovative design of QUAMAhardcore firsthand.
Visit the QUAMANational Testing Center
The engine of technological innovation is an important driving force for the development of enterprises. Entering the QUAMANational Testing Center, various high-tech testing instruments are overwhelming for everyone. As a comprehensive testing department established to provide technical support and services for QUAMA's technological innovation and quality control, the testing center has physics laboratory, environmental laboratory, durability laboratory, chemistry laboratory, salt spray laboratory, sample room, constant temperature and humidity room, and balance room, mainly responsible for testing the mechanical properties, physical properties, environmental performance, and other aspects of the company's products. Equipped with world leading analytical instruments and testing equipment such as TABER abrasion resistance testing machine, constant temperature and humidity testing machine, formaldehyde emission testing chamber, etc., covering various leather/plywood/cloth/rubber/coating abrasion resistance performance testing and analysis; Environmental performance testing and analysis of various materials, etc. The on-site guide explained the principle and detection system of the equipment in a simple and understandable way, integrating education into practice and benefiting everyone greatly.
It is reported that the QUAMATesting Center has officially obtained the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) certification in March 2021, indicating that QUAMAFurniture's testing technology strength and quality management level have reached the leading level in the industry. The professional testing reports issued within the scope of accreditation have gained international mutual recognition for their authority and credibility.

Subsequently, everyone visited seven major production workshops including the board workshop, solid wood batching workshop, screen workshop, hardware workshop, paint workshop, woodworking assembly workshop, and software workshop, exploring the wonderful journey from raw materials to finished products and experiencing the charm of intelligent manufacturing. The workshop has introduced many imported advanced equipment such as CNC machine tools, laser cutting machines, intelligent automatic powder spraying system equipment, heavy-duty precision electronic cutting saws, etc., which not only improves production capacity and shortens delivery time, but also demonstrates QUAMA's excellent manufacturing strength and technological "gold content". From textbook knowledge to practical operation, from sheet metal to finished furniture, the entire production process runs smoothly, vividly telling stories about QUAMAManufacturing.
Campus learning is a spiritual journey of exploring books, while off campus research is a practical journey of understanding society.
